Hello,

We have a web application developed in Coldfusion 8 and Sql Server 2005 as
database.The application runs fine
but after few days or so it gives 'Page not found' message to the clients
using the application externally outside the network. But the application is up
and running internally in other words people in the network can access the
application.

This started happening recently if anybody has any idea if something needs to
be configured through server
administrator for remote socket connections. As the application was in CF 5 we
recently upgraded to CF 8.

Thanks
Ann.

If the application is running on your LAN (and no problems are
noticeable), then most likely cause is your external router (that can
be hardware or software or both), check CF logs for any dropped
connections or persistent connections - if none are found then most
likely your external router (as above) are NOT passing requests to CF
at all, check it's config...
