I installed a Developer Edition on a server and now want to test a site without
IP restrictions to see if hosting the site is a viable solution or else going
the shared webhost route.  When we try to install the Trial Edition , the
Developer Edition is installed.  I tried uninstalling the Developer Edition and
installing the Trial, but the Developer Edition is always the one installed.
Seem like the installation leaves a trace behind and remembers the server and
prevents the installation of the Trial on the same server.

Any suggestion on how to get the Trial Edition installed on the same server a
Developer Edition was once installed? I tried removing all references from the
registry and still didn't work.

The Trial Version is the Developer Version, after the trial period expires, so
if you had already installed the Trial/Development version on this server, and
and your time has expired, I suppose that you could attempt time travel....

Or re-install in a brand new clean server (or a server made clean).

Otherwise you maybe able to contact Adobe and work out something, I've
heard of others having success with this.  I would go to the ColdFusion
specific representatives as posted on Ben Forta's blog.

Is there a screen where you can keep track of the number of days remaining on your trial? I cannot find one.

Thanks.
