Does anyone know how to fix these errors?
From the install log:
Install File: C:\JRun4\CFIDE\scripts\ajax\yui\yahoo\yahoo-min.js
Status: ERROR
Additional Notes: ERROR - ZeroGpl:
C:\JRun4\CFIDE\scripts\ajax\yui\yahoo\yahoo-min.js (Access is denied)
Install File:
C:\JRun4\CFIDE\scripts\ajax\yui\yahoo-dom-event\yahoo-dom-event.js
Status: ERROR
Additional Notes: ERROR - ZeroGpl:
C:\JRun4\CFIDE\scripts\ajax\yui\yahoo-dom-event\yahoo-dom-event.js (Access
is denied)
These two were summarized as "non-fatal", but I'd still like to know how to
install them.

It looks like you have bigger issues than those errors show initially. CFIDE
should normally be a subdirectory under your webserver's webroot or under an
internal jrun webroot. Either case you would expect to see:
C:\JRun4\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\CFIDE\scripts\ajax\yui\yahoo\ya
hoo-min.js
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\CFIDE\scripts\ajax\yui\yahoo\yahoo-min.js or similar. But
you would not expect to see CFIDE installing under \JRun4. I would uninstall,
delete \JRun4 and re-install. I would be careful what paths you input for the
webroot and program root during the installation. Also make sure you are truly
admin to the box as the installation runs.

I had same errors when I tried to install coldfusion 8. I think it is related
to permissions on the folders "yahoo" and "yahoo-dom-event". For some reason ,
may be the blocking of Yahoo at organization level it allows creation of
folders "yahoo" and "yahoo-dom-event" but you can't place/copy any files in to
those folders.
If there is any other reason you came across kindly educate me I am also
looking for a solution on this.

I've been trying for two weeks now to get CF8 to work on my MacBook Pro with
the ColdFusion built in server.
I had Apple install a new hard drive and still no luck. I tried calling adobe
and they don't seem to know except to transfer me and after two hours on hold
it gets might frustrating after a while.
Nobody seems to know why it won't work. I'd like Adobe to help me. i went to
Adobe in San Jose and they
told me to call the 800 number. Which I did and nobody seemed to know.
I went to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store and they said the server wasn't
working right.
I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled CF8 upteen times.
I've followed the instructions on Adobe sites, in Ben Forta's book and still
no luck.
I have been developing code now for 20 years. But for some reason CF8 doesn't
work or there is a bug in the code.
I've tried now 20 times to install CF8 and thus far zero CF code has been able
to render on my MacBook Pro.
