I have been trying to download CF8 all morning.  I'm on a Mac and have been
unable to download it using Safari, Camino, Firefox, and IE7 on Windows
(running in Parallels).  When I choose the download button, the page simply
refreshes and nothing else happens.  Anyone else having this problem?

Same problem here on PCs.

FF/IE/Opera does not work with download site.

But I can download extensions or report builder.

Really strange!!!

have downloaded it without a problem with ff...
just tried again and it worked just fine! (tried to download both mac
and win versions using pc and ff2)

I downloaded the Trial and Dev version about 10 minutes ago using Vista and IE7 with no problem - aside from being slow.

Strange.  I'm able to download everything else I've tried on Adobe's site.  Just not CF8.

Well it has something to do with my account.  I logged in with a different account and can download it fine.  Really strange.

We have downloaded from one of other PC but not from some of them.

I suspect that would be because of having Adobe Download Manager but after
uninstalling it looks like it is still same. Or it is not uninstalled as
expected.

Something wrong ...
Oguz.Demirkapi - 30 Jul 2007 21:42 GMT
Different account?

I will try ...
24z - 30 Jul 2007 21:47 GMT
Yup... creating another account works. Strange.
RodOnAdobe - 01 Aug 2007 00:32 GMT
I'll second that.... brand new account worked...
Oguz.Demirkapi - 30 Jul 2007 21:57 GMT
I have logged with other co-workers account and it works!

Please explain what is going on? :)
Azadi - 30 Jul 2007 22:08 GMT
i think it has something to do with adobe recently (?) switching to
email-as-username accounts only...
i remember seeing a notice on their website about updating your account
to match the new required format of username not long ago...
