Hello,
we have a development and a production environment.

i was told to develop  in the development before it goes to production,  but i
am hesitent to do that first.

i wanted to develop /  change the code from my local then development and then
get it approved to go on production.  it goes to the senior developer to cahnge
in production.

sorry about the long explaination.

i just wanted to set up the cold fusion environment in my local.

what do i need and have to do?

thanks

Map a drive to your development server and do what you were told to do.
Otherwise you will have to duplicate all the datasources and any bit of
re-useable code that is there.  That is not only inefficient, but it introduces
unnecessary opportunities to make mistakes.

apologies,  i dont understand what you have written.
