Hi,

I am trying to use the keyboard shortcuts to allow multiple selections in a
list box.  I haven't been able to find anything that can work. Once I make one
selection and as I move down the list using the up and down keys, my selection
is no more selected.
Has someone implemented something similar or does anyone have any ideas ?
Thanks

This is one of the reasons I don't use selects that allow multiple selections.  Check boxes are much more user freindly in my opinion,

on PC:
hold down CTRL key while pressing up/down keys to move from one item to
another; press SPACEBAR to select the item you are on.  i suppose you
know what holding down SHIFT key does...

i believe on Mac OPTION key is the equivalent of CTRL key on pc, but i
am not sure holding it down will have the same effect in the case of
multi-select listboxes...

Hi,

Thanks for your response. We had tried the Ctrl, spacebar, Shift option. It
had not worked for us, hence I thought there might be another way of doing this.

Does anyone know of any other way this might be accomplished?

Thanks

safari for win, and my suggested key combinations worked only in ff and
netscape...
