Hey all,

I've installed CF before but I am experiencing some odd behavior and I can't
get it installed on my new box.

When I go to install the developer edition the window looks strange.  The drop
downs are not shown properly.  Radio buttons are missing but I can still click
on where they are supposed to be.  Text boxes are missing but again I can click
on where I know they are to enter passwords and such.

Long story short I get to the end of the install wizard click on "install" and
nothing happens.

Now I installed 6.1 to see if that would work, and it did.  But when I go to
uninstall it (in the control panel, add/remove prog...) the same thing happens.

The wizards looks odd I get to the uninstall button and nothing happens.

I know this is pretty vague, but I don't know how else to describe what is
going on.

Any ideas would be fantastic.  Thanks.

What about any other installers? have you installed any programs in this box? I
would also try installing something that comes with InstallAnywhere (JRun?) and
see if the same thing occurs there. But I would agree with RobbieDL - it does
look like something's up with the graphics.

During installation Coldfusion runs an applet for the Administrator. Just to rule out any applet issues, install http://www.java.com/en/download/. Restart your machine.

I have the latest video drivers for the Nvidia card (it's on board) and the problem still exists.

Any ideas would be great, I'll try them all.
