We just installed CF MX 7.02 Developer Edition on a Windows 2003/IIS 6 server.
Before the install, we ran several HTML pages to make sure everything was
working correctly. We did not have any problems. However, we began installing
CF MX 7.02 and were just getting to the step of opening up the Administrator
for the first time, but we got an NT Authentication box instead. Canceleing
this box gives us a 401.1 error. This happens w/ both CFM and HTM files. We're
stumped on this one.

I too am having the NT type login.  I'm not sure what to use to login.  I know
what password I supplied during the install and I tried that, but I'm not sure
what username to use.  I can run .asp pages though, so it didn't seem to change
any of those settings.

I just poked around and tried http://localhost/cfide/administrator.  It came up with a page to input the password I supplied during the install.  That worked out and I was able to finish the setup.
