I currently have Cold Fusion 5 and Crystal 10 installed on my server.
I am in need of upgrading to Cold Fusion 7 ASAP, but I am a bit concerned
that our Crystal reports may not work after upgrading to CF7.

Does anyone have experience upgrading to CF7 while having Crystal Report 10?

Please advise, Thanks

Ron

one thing to keep in mind is that crystal server 10 uses an SQL server for
organizing enterprise documents and assets.  i have found issues when you
install crystal after you install other software that also use an SQL server...
this, i think, has to do with the very lite version of SQL that crystal uses.

But, CF doesnt have an SQL server in use. and really doesnt have anything that
would seem to interfere. i suggest taking note of all your crystal settings and
dsn configs, just in case, but... i think it would be fine.  Is this on a 2003
or 2000 server? (not that i think it would matter.)

also, is this Crystal or Business Objects?

The setup is a 2000 OS, already have SQL 2000 installed and in use too, It is Crystal Reports via Business Objects I believe.

Thanks for your insight,

Ron
