When I call my ASP script to connect to my database, to return a series of
records, does the server cache the results and dump the series of records to
the screen all at the sametime? or does the server display each record on
the screen when it has been caught?
Basically, i want to know if there is a way to determine the speed of
returning from 1 > 100 records at runtime!
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

It depends on if you have Response.Buffer = True, and it also depends on how
you are generating the html to be sent to the client.

Here are some options you should be looking at:

To show start and end times for all or a portion of an ASP page:

Response.Write "Start Time: " & Now() & "<br><br>"

Response.Write "End Time: " & Now() & "<br><br>"
