Application pools are not creating

Hi,

We are installing our product through install shield in VMware set up. In
some servers application pools are creating but in some servers it is not
creating even though IIS6 version is running.kindly suggest me in this issue.

You'd be better posting this in microsoft.public.inetserver.iis as this is
an ASP group and application pools are not ASP specific.

However, are you running IIS6 in IIS5 Compatibilty Mode? If so, application
pools are created but are not visible in the IIS Manager. You need to be
running IIS6 in IIS6 native mode to see them.
